You can easily find all the videos that you need on my website, along with other great revision resources. Check it out www.freesciencelessons.co.uk

In this video, we look at the advantages and disadvantages of renewable sources of energy. We explore solar, wind and hydro and then move on to other sources such as geothermal, tidal, wave and biofuels.

You have already saved my chemistry paper 1, and you’re about to save my physics. Thank you so much for all of these videos, so to-the-point and easy to follow, and - most importantly - easy to remember.

Much respect and gratitude :)

I was looking through the spec and I saw that it gave some scenarios for energy transfers on 4.1.1.1, such as an object hitting an obstacle, in the future could you create diagrams which would help people to understand them? Thanks :) Also, I'm watching all your paper 1 videos again today to revise for the exam tomorrow, they seriously are so much better than the revision guides.

Couldn't you say that hydroelectricity is unreliable in times of droughts? And couldn't you say that wave power is unreliable when the wind drops?
Great video btw

Energy is neither created nor destroyed — and yet the global demand for it continues to increase. But where does energy come from, and where does it go? Joshua M. Sneideman examines the many ways in which energy cycles through our planet, from the sun to our food chain to electricity and beyond.

Lesson by Joshua M. Sneideman, animation by Marc Christoforidis.
